Give A Warm Welcome to Your Community Advisory Committee
They’re your neighbors and friends – and now they’re representing you!
Orange County Power Authority (OCPA) introduced its Community Advisory Committee this past summer. Meeting once a month, the Committee’s purpose is to advise the Authority Board of Directors on the operation of its Community Choice Energy program.
The Community Advisory Committee is composed of residents, business owners and employees from OCPA’s four member cities:
- Jose Trinidad Castaneda III, Buena Park
- Shanin Ziemer, Buena Park
- Angela Lindstrom, Fullerton
- Theresa Harvey, Fullerton
- Steve Shepherd, Huntington Beach
- Kathleen McGowan, Huntington Beach
- Mohammed Alrai, Irvine
- Sidney Wu, Irvine
The committee meets the first Thursday of each month. Meeting recordings are available at www.ocpower.org.
