Building a brighter future, together

Now accepting grant applications from nonprofits, schools, and educators for the Bright Futures Grant below.

The Bright Futures Grant is OCPA’s annual community funding opportunity that supports local non-profits, schools, and educators in their efforts to educate communities on the benefits of renewable energy and Community Choice Aggregation (CCA).

Grants of up to $20,000 will be awarded to entities that have creative and effective approaches to promoting renewable energy education, particularly in underrepresented communities and through multilingual campaigns.

The grant also prioritizes initiatives that bring multiple partners together to collaborate on renewable energy education. This grant opportunity is a unique chance for organizations to make a meaningful impact on their communities and create a brighter, more sustainable future for all.

The application period runs from 4/21/25 – 5/23/25 with grants being awarded in Summer 2025. Please submit your application below by 5 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025.
