Say Hello to Electricity Bill Savings & Rewards With OhmConnect

The Orange County Power Authority is offering customers a clean energy solution and an exclusive offer from OhmConnect. OCPA has established a partnership with OhmConnect to provide another sustainable way to use energy that also helps you lower your electricity bill and earn rewards at the same time. OhmConnect is a free service that rewards California residents for saving energy. When you sign up, you’ll receive alerts when energy is most expensive. If you save electricity during this time, OhmConnect will reward you with gift cards or even cash via PayPal. That’s in addition to the savings on your utility bill. It’s a win-win! Plus, get $50 when you join!

How can OhmConnect pay you to reduce your energy consumption?

OhmConnect bundles the energy savings of all of its users and sells it back to the California Independent System Operator’s (CAISO’s) energy markets. CAISO pays OhmConnect for the energy that wasn’t used. This type of program is called “demand response,” because it represents members responding to heightened demand on the grid. In addition to helping improve grid reliability and rewarding their participants, demand response programs help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It’s a win-win-win!

Limited time offer: Orange County Power Authority customers are eligible to receive $50 for joining OhmConnect. Enroll today!
